“The space was gorgeous and privately nestled amongst boulders that framed a stunning view of Yucca Valley. The decor and furnishings were beautifully curated and made the space so inviting. We definitely made use of the kitchen, which had everything we needed to make breakfast and dinner. Absolutely loved the jacuzzi during the chillier winter night and we also enjoyed laying on the oudoor bed to watch meteors fall in the night sky. The bathrooms had everything we needed and the bedrooms were so comfortable and cozy. The beds were large and spacious! Loved the Sonos sound system. “Went here for our anniversary. The place itself has beautiful views of the Yucca Valley and the scenery is charming. The light at sunrise and sunset is magical. We used the outdoor jacuzzi. With the stars out and the warmth of the tub balancing the chill of a starry night — it gets pretty close to perfect. The house itself is very clean with all the right modern amenities. I even liked the decoration which was very tasteful and goes beyond what I would normally describe as the typical airbnb esthetic.
The place isn’t cheap for sure but given what it offers, I’d say it’s worth it.

We had a wonderful stay at the Fox Inn. The location and the views from the home were fantastic, making the sunsets and sunrise experience really gorgeous. The decor in the house was modern and the stay was comfortable. Lastly, the house is a few minutes away from Joshua Tree park making it very easily accessible. The location was close to Joshua Tree where we take hikes and come back to soak in the hot tub watching the sunset, star gaze at night, and sit by the fire pit. The views and patio space on this property is spectacular! The kitchen and bathrooms was fully stocked. This place was awesome for my birthday getaway! So many Airbnbs can be misleading but this one truly lived up to its description and the pictures. The location is really perfect; the house is in a residential area and there are neighbors but you feel secluded without being a far drive from anything. Coffee, restaurants, groceries, boutiques are all an easy drive down the main strip. I think Joshua Tree entrance was only 15-20 mins from the house. Most of our days were spent hiking or exploring so the hot tub and fire pit were very fun and relaxing to come back to. Best of all the hot tub felt and looked CLEAN.”

The house has everything one would need, shampoo, coffee, paper towels, garbage bags - you only need to buy food!). The entrance to the JT National Park is only 20 minutes away, and all the famous hike trails are nearby. We loved eating at the saloon and loved all the little shops in town. The house was very clean. The jacuzzi was great, and we loved the fire place outside. We sat by the fire overlooking the canyon every morning and night. We would book this house again in a heartbeat.”

“At night all the amenities we needed were the accordion door and the beautiful twinkling lights of Yucca Valley and full moon laid out before us. We’re already planning a special one week trip back with our adult children when we can have the time to try out the outdoor bed, hot tub, fire table, 360 view lookout and follow up on all the recommendations in the host’s guide to the area. And I can’t end this review without mentioning the wonderful interior of this home: very simply but thoughtfully decorated; easy to settle in, soothing but not boring or overly personalized decorating. If you want to feel as though you are a guest in a friend’s home who is just away for the weekend, this is not your place. If you want to feel as though you are in a modern, luxurious, hotel-style home that will leave you wishing it was yours, you will love this place just like we did!”

It has 3 bedrooms but I'd say it's really a 2 bedroom with a bonus room you "could" use for someone else to sleep but it would be noisy in that room. The house is pristine condition, extremely clean, modern, and very well curated, from the design to the décor to the toiletries, and feels like it should be featured in a desert homes books. I've stayed at several airbnbs in JT and this was by far the best and most memorable. “The Fox Inn exceeded our expectations! My girlfriend and I were looking for a private and romantic house with a beautiful view, and that's exactly what we got. In contrast to many of the other listings which are located on flat land and don't really have a view, the Fox Inn is perched on top of a hill and has a dramatic vista of the valley below, and is surrounded by gorgeous rock formations. It's just breathtaking. The view faces east, so you get a pretty dramatic sunrise, and you also get to enjoy the changing colors of the sky as the sun sets. I would recommend bringing an eye mask if you want to sleep in past sunrise though, because it gets quite bright in the bedrooms in the morning! Eating at the dining table was a real treat too because you get to face the view. The amenities were all very nice--the home is gorgeously decorated, the bathrooms are luxurious, and the jacuzzi is well maintained and very easy to use. Definitely planning to come back!”

“The Fox Inn was everything I was looking for - a peaceful escape from the city, but not too far from food and shops. The house is on the top of a small hill with views in nearly every direction. The kitchen was equipped with everything you'd need to cook a great meal, and there are numerous small touches that really make the place feel welcoming and hospitable, such as ample towels rolled up neatly in baskets, robes, labels under each light switch to indicate what it's for, and power strips next to the bed so that you can charge your phone. The decor was comfortable and modern, with a color palate that complimented the desert landscape, houseplants that added a nice touch of life, and even a coffee table book featuring desert home architecture. The house manual was very clear and easy to understand, as were the check-in and check-out instructions. Highly recommend!”

“The property was stunning and the proprietors spared no expense. The accordion door allowed for some of the most beautiful views of the valley. We were able to see some wildlife (coyotes, rabbits, and other desert life) but the sunsets really took our breath away. It was centrally located which was really nice. The house was gorgeous- very well decorated and as previously mentioned- no detail was spared- all the way to the coffee cups made of local granite to the brand new, state of the art SONOS system which allowed for us to listen throughout the house. I would also like to note the unbelievable responsiveness of the owners. We had a glitch with the hot tub (which ended up being user error). But they responded within minutes and addressed the issue immediately. We had the most relaxing and wonderful time. It is worth every penny.”

“100% perfect in every way. even in 105 degree heat this place was wonderful and being up in the hills felt several degrees cooler than the weather report. we were even able to open up the accordion door in the early morning for sunrise. it ruled. the house was extremely well stocked and everything was pristine and well-selected. coming back as often as humanly possible.”
